Front-End Engineer

Note: This is a fully remote role. Candidates must be able to work in EST time zones.

What You’ll Work On

Build Modern Web Experiences

Develop responsive interfaces using React and TypeScript.
Contribute to Progressive Web App features.
Ensure reliable performance across devices and networks.

Feature Development

Implement features from defined requirements.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers.
Balance user experience, performance, and technical constraints.

Scalable Systems

Work within a shared codebase and established architecture.
Participate in system design discussions.
Contribute to improving large-scale applications.

Team Collaboration

Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
Apply feedback to improve code quality.
Contribute to a collaborative team culture.

AI-Enhanced Development

Use AI tools to improve productivity and code quality.
Enhance debugging, testing, and implementation workflows.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience building web applications.
2+ years of experience with React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end fundamentals.
Experience integrating APIs and backend services.
Ability to debug and work within existing codebases.
Familiarity with testing practices.
Strong written communication skills.

Nice to Have

Experience with state management libraries (e.g., React Query).
Knowledge of performance optimization.
Familiarity with CI/CD or cloud environments.
Interest in mobile or cross-platform development.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $40,000 – $65,000 CAD annually
2 weeks PTO + additional holidays
