What Your Work Will Focus On

Build Modern Web Experiences

Evolve high-performance Progressive Web Applications.
Implement offline-first capabilities and real-time updates.
Ensure seamless cross-device performance, even in low-connectivity environments.

Own Features End-to-End

Work from ideation through deployment and monitoring.
Handle design reviews, testing, CI/CD, and implementation.

Architect for Scale

Design scalable and maintainable abstractions.
Improve large and evolving codebases.
Balance performance, maintainability, and developer experience.

Raise the Bar

Mentor engineers and lead by example.
Advocate for clean code and strong testing practices.
Promote technical excellence across the team.

Work Smarter with AI

Use AI tools like Claude and Codex to accelerate development.
Focus on high-impact engineering and system design.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience building scalable web applications.
4+ years of experience with React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
Strong architectural and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in large codebases.
Knowledge of REST APIs, HTML, CSS, and modern web practices.
Experience with automated testing frameworks.
Strong understanding of design patterns and SOLID principles.
Excellent written communication skills.
Mentorship mindset and team-oriented approach.

Nice to Have

Advanced TypeScript experience.
Experience with React Query or similar tools.
Mobile development experience (React Native, Capacitor, etc.).
Familiarity with Docker, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $50,000 – $85,000 CAD annually
2 weeks PTO + additional holidays
